Raritan's Next-Generation Remote KVM Solution Receives 'Best of Show' Award at Interop Tokyo 2006

-- Raritan Also Announces Recent Dominion KX101 Customer Wins --

SOMERSET, N.J. (July 25, 2006) -  Raritan - a leading provider of solutions to simplify IT operations - today announced that the Dominion® KX101 was named "Best of Show" in the "PC, Server, Storage and Peripheral Device" category at Interop Tokyo 2006.  The KX101 is a single-port, KVM-over-IP remote management device.

The award is given to products that demonstrate exemplary performance, innovation, value and potential.  A panel of industry leaders selected the Dominion KX101 to receive the category's special award because of its unique palm-sized form factor and its robust digital KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) functionalities.  Through a Web browser, the KX101 provides non-blocked remote access, with secure BIOS-level control, to target servers -- which can be located anywhere in the world.  Products from more than 350 companies were evaluated by the Interop judges.

"We are delighted to be recognized for our innovative product," said Karen Yaskanin-Jones, Raritan's Dominion KX101 product manager.  "The KX101 is the only one-port KVM solution with enterprise-class remote management features and tools.  It meets our customers' needs by providing always-available server access in all types of environments."

About Dominion KX101
Dominion KX101 shrinks all the performance, manageability and security features of Raritan's proven KVM-over-IP switches into a single-port, palm-sized device.  The KX101 -- which does not require a switch -- is a cost-effective solution for bringing enterprise-class KVM management capabilities to sites with few servers, such as branch offices.  It is also ideal for situations where servers are moved often.  The Dominion KX101 works with the industry's widest range of browsers and operating systems.  For remote collaboration, the KX101 provides PC Share Mode that enables up to eight remote users to simultaneously view the same server.  For more information on the KX101, please visit http://www.kxbutt.com/.
